I have a rescue cat that came from a shelter and from the moment I picked him up he had the most foul smelling gas and stool. He had a mud butt literally 24 hours a day. I tried everything....metronidazole, Fortiflora, other brands of probiotics, kaolin/pectin, prescription food, anti-gas products, anti-odor supplements, grain free....and nothing helped. I just started to think this is just how he is going to be from now on. I had another cat sick with diarrhea so I stopped at Hollywood Feed to see if they had anything better for diarrhea than the kaolin/pectin stuff I had. An employee recommended this. Out of desperation, I decided to give it a shot. I started giving it to all of my kitties since it sounded like it would be good for all of them regardless. And to my amazement, a couple of days after starting it I realized that Barney's butt wasn't stinking like it usually did. And the litter box was not knocking me out. And no checking my shoes only to find out he had pooted yet again. I mean, there has been a tremendous difference. The only thing different is that I started giving him this. A day or two later I added PetAlive Flatulence Preventer for Bloating, Gas, Cramps in Pets (granules) so it could be a combination of both but I had already noticed a difference before giving him the PetAlive product but went ahead and gave it to him anyway to be on the safe side. I think his gut got messed up somewhere along the way and it was never balanced out. I will continue to give this and we will see if it continues.

Another plus is that the product comes in individual packets so it stays fresh. Probiotics are pretty much worthless if not kept fresh. This does not have to be refrigerated either.

One thing to note....my cats do not like the taste. If I put it on their food then they will not eat it. So, I have to mix it with water and syringe it in their mouth. They don't seem to mind too much so it must not taste too yucky. Just not something they want mixed with their regular food. It also does not seem to take an entire packet to work either. I have been dividing the dose between my 3 cats and it appears to be working great. Only other drawback is the price. This is much more expensive than human grade probiotics with similar ingredients and we all know they are much more expensive to make because of the requirements for human supplements. I wish pet food and product manufacturers would stop raking people over the coals with what they charge. BUT this product is cheaper on Amazon than it was at Hollywood Feed. It was $32 plus tax there. Currently on Amazon it is under $30 with no tax and free shipping.

Anyway, so far, this seems to be a product I can highly recommend.
