I got this bowl for 2 rather large dogs thinking that it would be easy to have a 5 qt bowl that I could fill once instead of a small 3 qt bowl to keep refilling...but there is nothing "neater" about this brand. It's very hard to carry this full bowl without spilling the water everywhere because of the way it's designed! Not to mention that my dogs made more of a mess drinking than out of this thing than they do a regular bowl! I was very unhappy with this bowl, and ended up buying another one that was just a bowl instead of a weird oblong...don't buy it! yucka!
