The first time I gave my cats this cat nip, I put a little on their toys, scratching post and left to go to work, (my usual routine if I leave for more than a few hours). When I cam home,late that day, my most lazy and independent cat, Luna would not stop following me around. He cried and purred and wanted to be on my lap and in general, acted super weird. I phoned my husband in a panic I was so sure he was ill! We retraced Luna's day together I had forgotten about the new 'nipMy husband started laughing.."He's stoned!" What? "It's the new Catnip!" Oh. That was the only new thing and Luna was just super happy.
Well, I started giving waaaaay less catit nip in the morning before leaving or whenever, and now they are more normal, but even the other guy, Besos, actually climbs into the csbinet to try to find the catit 'nip if I don't give them some! They are acting younger again! they have never loved 'nip before, just kind of played with it, ate it and acted like, hey this stuff is pretty good, thanks.... Now they ask for it. Cute! Get some, but don't give too much the first time!
