After spending many, many dollars at the vet while they ran my cat through test after test trying to no avail to figure out what to do about her chronic diarrhea, I finally gave up and bought some of this stuff at the pet store. Within 48 hours my cat's stool had firmed up significantly. Not totally back to "normal", which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but good enough that the cat box isn't a disgusting mess anymore, and my cat is putting weight back on. And, unlike the other reviewer, my cat loves the taste so I can just mix it in with her food and she'll gobble it down. A great find ! Wish I had found it 6 months ago. My cat and I would have both been a lot happier.
