Yes, it's more expensive than Friskies, but if you care about your cat, and its health, buy this brand. I have an overweight cat, 35lb, this is how I adopted him from a lady, who was clearly overfeeding him, and feeding him cheap food. We've been on different, even prescription diets. Nothing really worked. He would always gain it back. Until I completely switched him to Wellness brand. Now he lost 10lb, and is keeping it off for more than a year. His Vet and me are less concerned now. He could hardly walk, when I adopted him! So happy I found a brand that has quality ingredients, and my cat LOVES it at the same time.
