The large capacity is great! It is efficient in distributing the food. When trying to remove the lid from the "hopper", you must be careful to not pull the entire hopper off the base, which would cause remaining food to spill out through the bottom. While this machine feeds the cats at the programmed times, it also tends to sporadically distributed small portions of food at random times. It is a decent product, but it does have room for improvements.
