After about a year of searching for dry cat food WITHOUT fish or fowl or FISH OIL or FLAX SEED, This is the only other dry food besides Evanger's Meat Medley that meets those requirements (that I am aware of). All dry foods labeled "hypoallergenic" contain fish oil and flax seed things cats with severe allergies are allergic to.
For several reasons, I needed to get my cat with severe allergies off canned and back on dry. This NV LID Rabbit must be new because last time I checked NV didn't have the LID dry They only made canned.
All my cats are attracted to this food. They can smell it and they seek it out. I can't afford to feed five cats $60 food but it may seem I have no choice! So for the product review, this is a good thing.
If you have a cat with severe allergies, whether just food or a combination, try this if nothing else works. It's expensive but 12 pounds is a lot for the price for this special needs food. And if your cat(s) like it and it helps even a little, it is worth it.
Hopefully they'll make more flavors for this LID dry.
