For a supermarket food, Meow Mix Market Select tops the charts for the best ingredients, container, and ease of use.
Many of the first ingredients come from REAL meat, not mystery meat or by-products. The fact that there are no by-products on the ingredient list make it even more appealing. The moisture content is excellent as well, so if you're concerned about feeding your cat enough water or water-based foods, this is an excellent choice for that as well.
The container is durable orange plastic (fun!) and the foil top is easy to peel off and makes a nice "sucking sound" when you peel it (also fun!).
To top it off, I haven't seen one cat snub their nose at this food. They all love it. Mine and everybody else's.
Holistic food is the way to go, but if you're short on cash or don't have a good pet store or vet nearby, Market Select isn't a bad choice.
The best ones are the Salmon and Crab, Tuna and Crab, and the Ocean Whitefish and Tuna.
