This is the only food we have fed our ~5 yr old rescue cat. Her coat has gone from coarse to silky and her constipation problem which required many enemas had to give her dulcolax and stool softener, to help her bowels, stopped the enemas but was a problem) disappeared she no longer needs help and her stool has grown in size and is softer. What a great, great food. No problem eating it and she grazes about a 1/2 cup/day per instructions on the bag. Her weight is normal. She is very active. We and she are extremely happy, and our Vet as well. Highly recommended by our entire family.
We have a rescue cat, when she found us on a road near our house, we saw that she had a severely damaged paw on her rear leg.Surgery repaired the paw but she got a bone infection. Oral antibiotics were given for about 3 months there was concern she would lose the leg; she didn't. Apparently (to me, not the vet) that caused the constipation problem.
