Hound & Gatos 98% Trout Formula Canned Cat Food
Like that it's 98% meat/fish. Dislike the number of thickeners/gums. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY they do not use carrageenan, one of the few canned high protein, grain free canned cat foods which don't use this dreadful substance. Little disappointed in the texture of this; it's some what like a heavy gelatinous mousse. With a 98% meat/fish content, I was expecting something more dense, more akin to meat/fish! I DO like that all their meats are sourced in the USA and made in the USA. (Even Nature's Variety Instinct, also carrageenan free, gets their rabbit from China :( ) Am disappointed in the customer service.... when I initially called with some questions I was abruptly told to go to the website (had the answers been there I would not have called them) Have to compare their cust serv with that of Addiction cat food..... the latter gets a A+ while these folk get a D. If you're going to sp[end this sort of money on cat food, go with the Addiction.
