I purchased this product for my dachshund puppy about 4 months ago because he was flipping the separate dishes and dragging them around. The wider base did the trick to stop that and was the right size for him. However, when I received the product I did notice that the paint job wasn't perfect and seemed to have a few small air bubbles in it. I should have sent it back, but didn't want to nit pick. The paint has flaked off in huge chunks and the base has rusted. The puppy noticed the paint flaking before I did because he scratched and pawed at it getting my attention and getting more flakes off (which ended up in his water) and the base was already rusty underneath. Be very careful and inspect your dish thoroughly.
