We adopted Daisy last summer and because we eat organic, etc, I wanted to make sure she was getting the same consideration. Because we camp lots I knew she needed protection from ticks, mites and mosquitos as well as fleas. I searched the internet looking for different holistic solutions. I didn't want pills, powders or sprays. I wanted something that wouldn't take lots of time and rub off. I found this product at Wolf Creek Ranch Holistic Animal Sanctuary's website and tried it. I reordered from Amazon because of the price and no shipping fees.

I noticed two ticks since that time and wondered if I was doing something wrong. So I contacted Vicki at the ranch and told her my situation. I had only been giving Daisy 1 tsp daily. Vicki said because Daisy weighted 63 lb that wasn't enough and she suggested I also put it in her water. So we are giving that a try also although she's not crazy about it. It's still to early to tell if this will help but I'm very willing to continue using this product because of the ease of use and even more it is chemical free.

I've also heard about garlic not being good for dogs so again I expressed my concerns with Vicki. This is her response, "Garlic in VERY large amounts can be toxic. For garlic to be toxic, the pup would have to eat practically his weight in garlic, I'm sure you or I would experience some toxicity if we ate our weight in garlic. Also, it is only a component of garlic that is toxic. Depending on how the garlic is processed determines the content of the allicin. Fresh garlic has the highest concentrate of allicin, roasted less, freeze dried even less, and air dried the least. Flea Free is made with the air dried garlic." This is a relief.

I highly endorse this product and will continue to use it. Daisy is healthy, has a beautiful black shiny coat and has the cleanest ears I've ever seen on a dog. Mosquitos don't fly around her, she's never had fleas or mites and I don't expect to have a tick problem now that I've increased.
