This stuff has an excellent reputation and a great balance of vitamins and minerals for your beardie and, based off personal research, is the best 'hard food' available in stores.

However, I have found it is not always accepted by my dragons and often they will turn their noses up at it, especially if you didn't feed this to them when they were babies. Also, you need to soak the pellets in warm water first and if the amount of water isn't right you get 'soggy' mush which my dragons seem to REALLY dislike and you have to toss it out and try again. Another fact is that the food coloring changes my dragons' poop strange colors which freaked me out the first time I saw it, so be aware that the coloring is a bit on the intense side.

Although I STRONGLY suggest this product over other hard foods available in stores (such as less complete products like Zoo Med 20-Ounce Natural Bearded Dragon Food, Adult Formula or Exo Terra PT1920 Bearded Dragon Juvenile Food, 11.4 Oz)...

...what I would actually RECOMMEND is 8oz Repashy Savory Stew Omnivore Gel Premix for Amphibians, Bearded Dragon, Turtles, Skinks and Tegus. Although this is more expensive, I have found it meets more dietary requirements than most of these other formulas, contains more recognizable ingredients, is more accepted by my reptiles and in general, and costs me less money in wasted food and time shopping for foods they'll actually eat. More than that, it is a soft food, has little/no food coloring, can be made easily, lasts a good long while, and can be fed to more than just bearded dragons (if you happen to have sliders or skinks for example). I also happen to find the scent of the food acceptable (sort of grassy) which makes me happy because some of these prepared foods smell truly awful. I suggest you at least research the Repashy diet before you choose to buy this or another pre-made food, I feel it is worth it in the long run and it does come in smaller sizes so you can 'sample' it and see how it goes. Another site that sometimes sells it cheaper is Pangea Reptile ( )which has a good selection of Repashy's many diets and other reptile supplies, you might find something there that suits other needs your reptiles might have.

Thank you for reading, I hope this helps you.
