The situation: Our cat was was scheduled to be neutered, but starting spraying a few days before the operation. We live in a 800sqft Brooklyn apartment, so...
The result: In these few days, our apartment started smelling overwhelmingly like urine. We tried spot cleaning where the cat had sprayed. We tried everything. Acid cleaning products, basic cleaning products, "natural" cleaning products (e.g. tomato juice), traditional chemical cleaners, etc. None was able to totally get rid of the smell. Then we found "anti icky poo"...
The product: Worked more quickly and more thoroughly than any combination of the aforementioned products. We sprayed the affected areas, left for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours (depending on the severity of the situation) and the smell of urine was gone (or at least, undetectable to our noses). In some cases we left a wet towel / dishwasher cloth dosed with anti icky poo over the affected areas to ensure long-lasting action. The cleaner is based on active enzymes, so to a degree the longer the cleaner is left to do its job, the more effective it is.
I'm sure I could find things to nit pick (e.g. the product's smell, although not very strong and quickly dissipating, is not great) but in face of the relief it provided to us, immaterial. Have continued to buy over the past year to deal with other accidents (e.g. litter box issues), and will continue to do so faithfully for as long as we have cats.
