Merrick 24 Count Purrfect Bistro Thanksgiving Day Dinner Canned
My cat loves the classic Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner Cat Food, but he refuses to eat this new Purrfect Bistro formula after tasting only a mouthful. This new formula has all new ingredients that include deboned duck, chicken liver, salmon oil, powdered cellulose, dried egg product, dried potato. It also contains deboned turkey, but maybe my cat can't taste the turkey with all these new ingredients. Maybe my cat does not like Powdered Cellulose. Cellulose is mostly wood pulp and cats are not able to digest it. Cellulose has no nutritional value for a cat. The old classic version of this food had 3% fat. This new formula has 5% fat. Merrick is no longer making the classic version. I still think Merrick is a good company, and my cat and I are going to try some of their other new cat foods.
