After 10 years of being spoiled rotten in our household, Kitty is still trying to overcome her feral nature. She also has a chronic digestive problem and is not supposed to eat dry food but detests commercial canned cat food. For her if it smells like salmon she will condescend to lick the liquid but will leave the solids.
Because of recent events I am now genuinely concerned about the safety of our commercial pet foods. However, having heard a lot about the quality of Blue Buffalo pet foods I decided to try it, not as a whole meal for Kitty but a few at a time as a treat. Glory be, she loves the stuff! In fact she will munch out on her Wilderness before she will touch any other treats. And her innards seem to take to it as well, a definite bonus.
The first listed ingredient is deboned salmon, followed by chicken meal, turkey meal, and fish meal. That means no animal by products such as bones and feathers. There are also some surprising ingredients like sweet potatoes, kelp and blueberries. The kibble is in small pellet form, very much to Kitty's liking.
We will continue to feed Kitty the raw foods she craves but also as much of the Wilderness as she chooses to consume because I am convinced this product is really good for her.
And folks listen up, it is made in the USA!
