This is great for travelling. Some reviewers misunderstood the purpose of the collapsing bowl. It's for TEMPORARY watering of your pets...not for holding water all day long. Put water in it on stops with the dog, let dog drink what it will, dump out excess water, collapse and put away bowl, and travel along again. Repeat at next watering stop. If you want something that holds water ALL DAY, then get the solid bowls that don't collapse. It's really that simple, folks...really.
