I normally do not leave reviews, but in this case I had to make an exception. I cannot say enough about this cat food.
My cat has been a life long, die hard fan of Cat Chow. All this life, he would touch nothing else. Unfortunately being an indoor, rather lazy tom cat, he was overweight, and despite my best efforts remained that way.
This summer, he became sick. While no one is completely sure why, (although feline diabetes was suspected), his blood sugar became quite elevated, he dehydrated, and ended up spending several days at the veterinary hospital.
Without a proper diagnosis, they sent him home with the instruction to keep him comfortable, and to put him on a high protein diet. While he was not considered a "classic diabetic cat" he was close enough that he needed a better diet.
I went to my local Petsmart, and read every label I could find. The brand with the highest protein was Blue.
Luckily for me my cat loved it from the start. And, 3 months later he is healthy, his coat is smooth, and he is more active than I have ever seen him. He has even lost weight, and is within a normal range for a cat his size!
