NOTE: I have written an almost identical review for Tiki Cat Puka Puka Luau Succulent Chicken. Both of these varieties are excellent. The difference between Succulent Chicken and Chicken with Egg in Consomme is simply added egg bits.

MACROS: 88% Protein, 6% Fat, 0% Carb

"Grain free, Gravy free, Omega rich."

There are absolutely zero 'filler' ingredients. Looking at the ingredients, you can see that Tiki only uses high quality foods that are actually healthy for felines. The chicken itself is shredded and submerged in a chicken watery broth that my cats love to lap up. It looks a lot more appealing than the brown mush that comprises most other canned cat food. Tiki Chicken cat food is actually USDA-certified for human consumption! Additionally, the macros for Tiki Succulent Chicken are fantastic -EXACTLY what a cat's diet should be composed of.

I weaned both of my cats off of EVO Chicken Formula dry food onto Tiki. I had previously thought that EVO kibble was a high-quality food, but both of my cats were gaining weight rapidly, even with strict portions. My veternarian said they were extremely overweight, and that I needed to put them on a different diet. After 5 months of Tiki, both are at normal weights, have a TON more energy, and are much better hydrated (less water bowl drinking!).

This is the best quality cat food I have ever found, short from making raw food for your own cats which is an intensive process. The price is definitely a factor -my two cats go through one case of Tiki in about 3-4 days. If you can afford Tiki, buy it over other canned foods.
