I checked out the ingredients for these products on 2 websites and nowhere did it mention MSB (menedione sodium bisulfate). Four of the varieties have that synthetic vitamin K in them and I will not give that to my pets. If I would have known that, and wanted to give that to my cats, I could have gotten the Natural Value brand for less than 1/2 the price! I thought I could pay more to give them a different type of food for variety that did not include a synthetic ingredient under the label of "all natural". This chemical builds up in their systems and in tests has caused lesions on the internal organs. Even animals who weren't given it all the time, had it in their systems when they died. Do your research and google "Menedione sodium bisulfate" for a wealth of information. By the way, Natural Value does add it to their small cans of food but it isn't in the pate formulas or the larger cans of tuna, which they now offer at Amazon on subscribe and save. I will give my cats the ones that don't contain this harmful ingredient, but won't buy this configuration again.

I sent a letter with my concerns to Petropics, the maker of this food, and I was pleasantly surprised to get a response within 24 hours! They are now making this food, all the varieties, without MSB. I was not only impressed with the company, but also thrilled that they are making it without the synthetic. My cats love it and that makes me justify the price. It is a little higher, but actually it is still in the ballpark.
