I bought this canned food when Amazon recently featured it as a lightning deal. The price was a good ten dollars off the normal price I see at the local PetSmart.
The cats liked this stuff right away. It comes out looking like chopped stew, with dark bits of vegetables in it. The first ingredients in the "Turkey and Vegetable Stew" can are turkey broth, chicken, turkey, chicken liver, dried egg white, potato starch, potatoes, peas, carrots, oat fiber. It was nice to see that real meat was the primary ingredient, and not some rice meal. I didn't need to scoop the stuff out of the can as the contents came out freely. The stuff didn't smell bad, either, and must have been pretty tasty because the cats didn't leave anything behind.
Castor and Pollux make good animal food products. I also recommend their dry foods for cats and dogs.
