My cat went on this when she was 19 and was on it for over a year. She became much more active, jumping onto the couch, even rolling on the floor with her toys which she hadn't done for a long time. She wasn't crazy about the taste but I would recommend it for a cat that seems to be slowing down due to joint issues. I passed this product along to a friend with an old cat and she said the change has been incredible!
