I have used D-Mannos personally for years. My dog was having Urinary Tract System issues. I ordered this product to avoid using my people dose. The problem is the addition of vitamin C to this product. Vitamin C acidifies the urine. If it is too acid it can lead to crystals in the bladder. A BAD thing especially for a male dog. I did not know about the vitamin C in this product when I ordered it. I have not used it, nor opened it.
In the right circumstance it could be good to use. Our Dog's PH indicated not using it. Best talk to your veterinarian before deciding.
D-Mannos in itself is one of the best supplements to prevent urinary tract infections from recurring reducing the need for over use of antibiotics.
