I bought this because the ingredients looked good and I liked the idea of the probiotics, but my goldfish won't go near it so it sat in the tank and turned it a cloudy, brownish color. Once I stopped using it and did a 20% water change, the water cleared up. This may work for some, just didn't work for me.
