This would have gotten a higher rating but there were 2 issues. First is that with the drawer installed, the area for the litter box doesn't have a high enough clearance for my cat to be able to arch her back, which is a typical posture for a cat in the litter box.
The other issue was I thought this item allowed for the opening to be on either side, but it does not. This was my oversight. The ability to switch the side with the opening was on another product which was too large for the space I had. Overall this cabinet meets my needs, so I kept it. I just had to put it in a different space (to accommodate the opening) and I didn't install the drawer.
