My groomer recommended this product for my poodle who has extremely dry skin. I have been using this product now for about 6 years. It really stops his dry, flaky skin problem so I try to never run out of it. I can't say if it helps with shedding because poodles don't shed but I can definitely recommend it for dry skin problems.
