To small for the dogs to steal from her, and too big for her to swollow. Its her own perfect lil toy. They work on hardwood or tile, desks or any hard surface. She likes it when I make them spin and the she prounces on them! They are a great toy! I wish they came in a higher count!

9 Lives Cat Food is one Meal my Cats really like and enjoy eating it. Tender Carvings with Slices of Beef in Gravy, one of the many Flavors that is Good for them and I get it Locally. They enjoy eating it maybe twice a week. 100% Completed and Balanced Nutrition with all kinds of Vitamins, Nutrients and Minerals all supposed to be Good for Cats. I can get several Meals out of each Can of Food, my Cats are a little Finicky so I have to try different Flavors and Brands all the time, they don't eat a lot at one time they are Nibblers and they prefer to eat many little Meals. I have tried other more expensive Cat Food from Popular "Specialty Pet Shops" or other "Food Boutiques" for Pets, however, they don't want any of that, they Crave and like to eat 9 Lives. I am glad there are such Diversity of Flavors to make my Cats Happy and to choose from. I even Feed 9 Lives to several Cats outside and they Love it! ...Thank You D.D.

My 7 year old border collie has a very sensitive stomach. Purina, Benefit, Science Diet, and even home made dog foods (rice, oatmeal, carrots, chicken) would give her diarrhea and/or make her vomit. She hates peanut butter, cheese, apples, carrots, and all the standard treats dogs usually love. But once I put her on this stuff, she eats regularly, never gets sick, and has bowel movements with no troubles at all. This food is great! And the price is amazing for the amount you receive.

This cat is very picky about his food and after I got tired of having to donate food that he refused to eat I looked for something that was highly rated as well as food that was good for him. Seems that we have a winner (finally!). He also likes the tuna with tiger prawns, mackerel & sardine, and salmon versions. I bought the sardine too but it turns out is in large chunks and he won't eat it unless they're cut up so won't be ordering it again.

Amazon fulfilled the order and my only complaint about it is that about 1/3rd of the cans were so dented that they were unusable. I'll probably try ordering it again but if the packaging is that poor again it will be the last time because it's aggravating to have to toss that much food.

The product itself is really good 5 stars, our dogs love them!

The seller I bought them from had misleading content. The price was around $11 and they stated a case of 10 9.75 ounce canisters (97.5 total ounces). Based on this wording, it was a really good buy. What I ended up receiving was only 1 canister for $11, not a case. I called Amazon and they took down that site. However, I have seen 1 or 2 other sites with this same phrasing.

I would have a hard time buying this product online again. A local store sells it for around $3 a canister.

My kitty eats all the flavors of Natural Balance Platefulls on rotation, and loves all of them equally. He gets dry food in the morning, and a pouch for dinner every night. His coat is GORGEOUSLY soft and shiny, and these pouches don't give him nasty gas or rowdy bad breath like some other canned/pouch foods. When I first opened a pouch, I saw that it had peas and carrots in it, and I figured those would be left behind in the bowl. Cats just...don't eat vegetables. I have happily used this product for years, but have just now opened the case I ordered in November. Every can, with the exception of two, was badly dented, some with labels falling off, others so badly compromised that the interior was exposed. I have always had good luck with Amazon, but in this case I believe they are shipping "seconds" which is fine if they would advise us as such and price accordingly. thence we would have the option of shopping elsewhere.

This in and of itself is a good product, but ill served by Amazon

The description for this product lists this bag as being 8 ounces, so I ordered several. I received several 1.1 ounce bags of the item. For almost 10 dollars, it isn't worth it for this tiny sized bag. We've purchased the larger-sized bag for about 10 in-store, so that's what I expected to receive. I'm waiting for Amazon to call me back to either refund my money and change the description on the site or to send me the size that they advertise.

That said, my finicky cat loves these treats--he'll sit next to his food bowl in the evening until someone gives him his Dream Treat!

UPDATE: Amazon sent out another order of this--and surprise--they sent more of the 1 ounce bags. Obviously, the description on this page needs to be updated. The 1.1 ounce bags are only a couple of dollars at our retail pet store and the large bag that they carry is approximately the cost that Amazon charges for these.

If Amazon does so, would someone leave a comment for me so I can update this review? Thanks...

Aside from live crickets and fresh veggies, this is our dragon's favorite food. We've tried several pelleted foods and usually he eye-balls it from a distance and refuses to eat it for several hours. But for this he dives off his shelf and comes away from his empty bowl with leftovers covering his face and toes.

P.S. Don't forget to soak dehydrated foods... And don't oversoak pellets or they turn into mush ;-)

This is exactly what I needed to feed my White Cloud Mountain Minnow babies. I've got a large tank, the fry spread out and it was hard to get food small enough to the fry. First Bites is powder fine and spreads out instantaneously on the surface of the water. It very slowly sinks, and my White Cloud fry went for it immediately on the surface and as it sank. The adults also enjoy it, though there isn't enough to fill their stomachs. After using First Bites many more fry lived to adulthood that when I used crushed flakes or dried daphnia for the babies. This pack of food lasted me months of constant Minnow Spawning. Your fish shouldn't need more food than can fit on the very end of a toothpick, and most fish fry need to be fed 4 times a day.
