Evanger's 100% Organic Braised Chicken Dinner for Cats, Case of 24
Before purchasing this product I had done some research and thought it would be satisfactory for my hyperthyroid kitty (it had no carageenan). When I fed it to my cat, she ate very little; each time I fed her, she ate very little of it--seeminly not liking it. I knew it had brown rice in it and that can be upsetting to their digestive systems, but I was really attracted to it because it was organic, and it had no carageenan, so I guess I was hoping it would not upset her stomach. I don't know that it did, but that was not the point. As I was doing some further research on Evanger's brand foods I learned that they have had a number of recalls of their pet foods. Also, I was able to read some of the company executives' responses to these recalls, and they seemed rather callous and far less than forthcoming or concerned. For that reason alone, I will not purchase Evanger's again. (I had also purchased the buffalo and my kitty really seemed to like that, in little feedings, but I don't trust this product and will, therefore, not use it).
