Ever since Wellness cat food had a recall because it was lacking in thiamine (they had cooked too much out of the food in a few batches) I tried switching him to a different brand even though he's been on Wellness for almost 8 years and has never had any problems with constipation or the urinary tract crystals he's prone too. Well, switching him was a nightmare and he got so constipated I had to bring him in on an emergency vet call because he kept straining and crying and couldn't go potty. So, I switched him back to Wellness and his constipation issues completely cleared up but I was still concerned that a vitamin deficiency like that could happen again and so I went on a search to find a supplement for him.

Low and behold I found these on Amazon.com and he loves these! *PHEW!* So, I use these as 'treats' throughout the day to reward him (the recommended dosage is 4 chewable tablets 2/AM and 2/PM and for kittens 1/AM and 1/PM). These vitamins come with a child-proof lid. They have a pleasant beefy scent which he loves.

Because my kitty is a senior cat, he's had some teeth removed but doesn't have a hard time chewing these (they are not as hard as kibble and more easily crumbled).
