Like the new collar, its as durable as I expected the version 4 to be. However, the company is hosing us with a little change in the battery. Same batteries as used in previous high tech collars. Its a CR2430, except that they stuck a little cover on them to move the positive and negative pole contacts both to the top, thereby allowing them to be the only provider and charge a gripload more for them.
Taking advantage of the customer by upgrading a collar to only accept a battery you have altered and only you provide for unreasonable costs is unacceptable. No more high tech product endorsements from me....I will encourage friends etc to go with your competition.
