I bought this for $31 at a local pet store because the Addiction venison kibble, which my cat loves, was out of stock. It has excellent ingredients but my cat won't eat it. Currently I am feeding my cat chopped raw chicken & egg until the kibble comes in.
Besides the Addiction kibble, she's been through Innova, California Natural, Prairie, & Instinct. I liked the idea of the raw Brushtail in this dehydrated food but didn't realize the berry component would be so overpowering. It doesn't smell like catfood; it smells like a breakfast bar, & it smells so STRONGLY of a breakfast bar I can't imagine a carnivorous animal putting its face near it. The berry smell is like strong perfume. If I had to smell it all day I'd probably feel ill.
Fortunately my dogs don't mind it mixed in with their (Instinct) kibble. Although I'm not sure how long that will last. This stuff really reeks.
