My cat has been on this brand of cat food for about 12 years now. He has never had any problems with hairballs. Recently, he started bringing up hairballs and often. It occurred to me to check the bag of cat food and I found they have changed the formula. I went to the pet store and found they have taken the hairball control out of all of their Natural Choice foods. 12 years with hardly any hairballs proves the old formula worked. I wish they had not changed this. I had to hurry up and find another brand with hairball control. Using a mixture of the old and new means he is back to normal now.
***Update 10/30/2013 -The bags in the store now show the hairball wording again. I am wondering if they got a lot of complaints and decided to go back to the previous formula. I'm happy they did.
