9 Lives Plus Care, 3.5-Pound Bags (Pack of 3)
In the past, my male cats were prone to blockages in their urinary tracts (crystals) which was not only painful but according of our vet possibly deadly. Initially, our vet recommended the urinary tract medical formula of the food that they sold. After awhile, though this tended to get a bit expensive. Once those cats were stabilized, my mom decided to give a previous 9Lives formula with urinary tract care. Ever since we switched those cats over to this product years ago more than 10 years ago, we have continued to feed all of our cats this food and have not had any urinary tract issues. Last summer I was able to convince my step-mom to switch her male cat with a recent history of blockage; or maybe it was really him as he enjoyed it eating our cats' food over his vet formula. I honestly think that cats enjoy this food as I have seen cats (roommates' cats in college) choose to eat it and neglect another dish filled with a different food. When I moved to another city, I had initially had issues finding this food in my local stores. Thankfully, now more stores have started carrying it; and I no longer have to stock up on it when I drive to visit my parents or have them bring some on their visits! If only there was a subscribe and save for the larger bag...
