Well, all I can say is that marketing is once again at the forefront for this company!
Fancy Feast is quite masterful at it, and we keep buying in to it!
We have tried all the varieties of the Elegant Medleys with the greens in them.
Neither of our cats wants anything to do with them!
They will eat a couple bites just from sheer hunger, but leave the majority to get dried
out in the dish. They just don't care for the mix of flavors/textures in this one.
One thing needs to be pointed out all this marketing about veggies or greens in our cats' food
is simply hype designed to fool those who think a cat's diet should be just like ours, and a mix of
meant and vegetables. Not so cats are CARNIVORES, not omnivores. They don't have to have vegetables,
even though they do like some of them once in a while (like unspiced pumpkin, squash and green beans).
I guess they are rejecting the ingredients. We aren't buying it anymore it just goes to waste.
Why FF/Purina can't seem to make a cat food without grain filler in it, I do not know. One of our
cats has an allergic reaction to corn, so we have to watch out for that. This one has WHEAT GLUTEN
as a partial thickener/filler, so if your cat is sensitive to grains, be aware!
Dear Purina why not just make one with things that are HEALTHY for cats, and not just cheap
and easy fillers?!
Our two cats voted all paws down for this food line.
