The High tech pet HC 8001 Fence works great on our Cocker Terrior on low intensity. The controler is super sensitive so you can take a huge yard and make it just right around the house. The supplied wire will get you about a half acre depending on how strait your property lines/trench you dig in. There is a learning curve for both dog and owner to work through, the supplied flags seem to work great and the collar emits a beep both dog and owner can hear easily. If the collar beeps it does deliver a stimulating shock so i recomend triing it out before putting it on the animal to discover the desired sensitivity to adjust the controler too. Be careful on setting it too low.. If the collar beeps within the five feet range of the buried wire the dog can run through the stimulus. Once the animal is past the total ten feet the collar quits stimulating. I had to turn mine up to about 10 feet for a total barier of 20 feet to prevent run through.
