He is an elderly cat and had been losing weight for a while.. we tried multiple things.. soft foods, etc. Not sure why but he's gained weight on this and likes it just fine. It was a lot cheaper when available locally.. kinda irked about that. Will continue to purchase until I find it nearby.

I would have continued to purchase this item but the price kept getting higher and higher and higher... I think greed will keep it creeping as high as folks are willing to go. I folded.. am now buying the large bags of 9 Lives "Plus Care" which is also easy to digest. The Plus care is available locally (Think Big box store) and I can use coupons. The elderly cat has tolerated the change and continues to do very well.
