I have purchased this product for land turtles (box turtles) as well as water turtles (sliders) as a treat. This is NOT appropriate for tortoises, at least not all tortoises. Grassland and desert tortoises should NOT be given any meat products (this contains fish or meat meal). Forest tortoises are okay with a small amount of insect matter, as are turtles, but you should MAKE SURE your tortoise is a forest tortoise before you buy, if you're not sure, DON'T FEED THIS! It can cause renal damage that is irreversible in animals who should not have animal protein.
