I own over 5 of this type of item. It is a great kitten/small pet dish. Cleans up nice and has a non-skid bottom. This helps keep it from tipping and moving around while the pet is eating. Unlike plastic it will not hold bacteria or absorb smell and oil from food.
I do kitten and puppy foster care. We have to feed small amounts. The humane society that we volunteer at uses this bowl too. The description is miss leading, if you look at other sites they include the dimensions (1" deep with a 4.5 diameter or 5 diameter).
