I mistakenly bought a case of this cat food before trying just a can. When my 2 cats refused to even lick it (neither of whom are picky), I gave 2 cans to family to try with their cats. None of their 3 cats would even taste it either!
I contacted Hound and Gatos directly to return the product because if 5 cats in 3 different households refused to even taste it, perhaps there was something wrong with it. They refused to pay for return shipping (if 5 cats won't eat it, it's likely something is wrong with the food) and were rude and condescending. There was a distinct lack of concern for a long time customer of their lamb and salmon cat food.
Their antagonistic and unethical treatment clearly portrayed a distinct lack of caring for their customers. If they reacted this way to a customer, why on earth would I trust my cats' health to them? I was already suspicious of their ingredients (their salmon cat food is like jello) and probable over use of jelling products.
There are many other high quality cat food companies out there with stellar customer service. I, for one, will be taking my business elsewhere. There is definitely NO LOVE being put in this company's cat food with employees as disrespectful as Sarah and David working at Hound and Gatos.
