This carrier is nice because it doesn't have wires like a crate if you are worried about a tiny puppy getting its leg caught, or getting a collar caught in it. It is very small though. I have a 5 and 7 pound yorkie poo and the 7 pounder can just lay down in there, it's not tall enough to stand up in for the 5 pounder either, but if you are just going to use it as a carrier and not a crate it will be just fine. Also, the carrier is more of a light reddish color and is definately not pink as the picture shows.
