It's not the most popular food I've ever given my kitties (that honor goes to Tikicat's Mackerel blend), all three of our furbabies enjoy it, including one notoriously picky eater who now wakes me up for her breakfast. The consistency is a little on the mushy side, which has bothered them with other foods but less so here. It has a pleasant, canned chicken smell.
My real like for this brand is the lack of cheap grain fillers, although there are chickpeas and other bits of fruit, which are actually desirable and more in keeping with a natural wild diet. I'd be happier if this included some organ meats, esp. liver. All in all, a solid product.
