I was very unhappy with it. maybe the other reviewers hadn't had the original (round) turbo track & scratch pad before, which is so very much more well fitted and secure in the track ...
the dual pad is not in any way secure in place, and because the cardboard sits directly on the floor rather than inside, which makes for a slick bottom, along with the fact that the snap-together track kit weighs so much less than the original round turbo track, it gets pushed all around the floor from wall to wall and won't stay where you put it. So you end up tripping on it at any given time, not expecting it to be in a different place every time you enter the room.
it also is less than half the height of the original, so it's it's 'sunken' at least an inch lower than the top edge of the track, so it is nowhere near as comfortable for the cats and they don't use it near as much as the original, because they can no longer sit/lay at the edge with their forearms resting across the track, keeping their paws laid on the pad while they scratch they have to stand while stepping into the middle to use it.
also because the track itself fits together loosely with teeny tiny tabs, the whole thing falls apart occasionally. it would be helpful if they would make this pad adhere to the track, to help the whole thing stay together.
as well as it being less than half the height of the original, it is half the width, as well. it is TINY, but it costs more. it was all I could do to find one for a similar price after hours of searching. it's twice as much most places.
maybe since I have more than one cat all using it together (that's why I ordered the snap-together track, because it's bigger than the round), that amplifies these issues.
