Acurel LLC Nitrate Reducing Media Pad Aquarium and Pond Filter

I bought this pad to help reduce my nitrates in my 46 gallon tank. My amonia is zero, nitrites are zero and nitrates are only 10ppm. Not high at all but I wanted to lower the level down and hopefully to zero. This product did nothing. My nitrates stayed the same. It helps block debre in my filter. I used it in my Aqua Clear 110 power filter. It is easy to cut and size but doesnt work. Luckily It didnt cost that much. I will use it till its gone but so far two pad changes in a month have done nothing.
