Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition Siamese 38 Formula Dry Cat

I love this food for my cat. She has been on it for years and it's really the best for her breed. If you own a Siamese cat you know that they love to eat quickly, and will usually toss up the food because of this. This food is shaped so that they are forced to chew it and that slows them down. Now, that doesn't mean that they will never toss up, but it drastically reduces it. It's very high in protein and keep her lean and never overweight. She has been very health all her life and her check-ups are always clean. She has never had a UTI or other digestive issues. The food is pricey, but it works so well.

I'm feeding my cat the Nutro MAX CAT Indoor Weight Control formula, because she's on the chubby side. I think it's working, because she's thinning out, and we haven't used up the bag, yet.
The food comes with a money back guarantee that the cat will like the food, which she does, so I didn't have to take them up on the offer. I'm not sure if we have to return the unused portion back to the manufacturer, like we would for some human foods. The package didn't say.
The food doesn't have a strong odor, which some cat foods do -another plus.
I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Don't know which fish food to buy? I didn't either. So I started buying various brands and noted the way my fish and pond reacted. At first I thought "What do fish know about taste and quality? One food's the same as the next." How wrong I was! My pond is about 200 gallons in which live 13 comets, walkin and shubunkin. The largest fish is an 8" comet. This flake-style food floats, as well as all the other brands I tried. It makes it easy to observe how quickly the fish take the food and whether they spit it out after taking it. In retrospect, of 5 competing products I tried previously, the fish ate all of them but seemed disinterested, taking the offered food only because there was no alternative, not because they were particularly fond of it. Then my daughter recommended that I try TetraFin Flakes. I first bought 7 ounces, fearing that it would be "more of the same". The difference, however, was nothing short of amazing. Suffice it to say that the fish "attack" this food in what can only be described as a "feeding frenzy". After feeding this food for a week, the fish completely ignored or rejected the products they previously ate. Another pleasant outcome was the reduced solid waste produced by the fish when on this food. This seems to be much more within the capability of my "vegetable" filter and, coupled with the apparent lack of any undesirable parasites, makes for a cleaner, healthier pond.

So my male cat developed a urinary/bladder problem. Long story short(and 2 grand later)the vet said he should be on Hill's Prescription Diet C/D canned food. We started him on that, but each can was substantially more expensive than other canned foods. That's when, thanks to looking around on various sites, others have said they used Friskies Special Diet. Cat enjoys the taste, and it always gets mixed with a few ounces of water to increase his water intake (cat does not drink water at all from his water dish).
Using Subscribe and Save (discounted price and auto monthly shipments) along with Prime membership (free shipping), the price beats going to the store so it's a no brainer.
This is working for my cats health, but I am not a vet nor should you blindly follow this review if your looking for an alternative to Hill's or other Prescription canned foods.

I wanted to upgrade my fishes current food since they were store brand and I wanted to better my fishes food. I already knew that Ocean Nutrition makes some wonderful fish food with great ingredients. First time I put this food in the tank they swarm right to the surface and started eating. They were becoming more interested in feeding time, and no food was wasted the first time feeding this. This is a very big jar of fish food so I probably won't be buying any more anytime soon, this food should last me 4 months or even longer.

Aqueon Evolve 2 LED Aquarium Kit, 2 gallons

I own the 2 gallon model of this aquarium which comes (as of this review) in 2, 4 and 8 gallon models. I can only speak towards the 2 gallon version, though it seems reasonable to expect that all three equally share the same pros and cons.
Overall this is a nice tank. Complete with power filter, LED lighting with daylight and moonlight modes and lids (one for the back filter section and one for the overall front aquarium section).
THE LED LIGHT
Is pretty nice. The daylight mode is very bright, impressively so. It shows every ripple of water producing that often sought after dancing affect. Even the moonlight mode is bright enough to produce this affect, yet not so bright as to be mistaken for anything but moonlighting.
THE FILTER
I personally do not like cartridge filtration that I must replace often. Instead I put a small bag of "bio-max" (the AquaClear 20 version) in the filter section with two sponges (also AquaClear 20 version) for the filtration. It does come with a nano sized version of the standard Aqueon filter cartridge, which works really well, I just prefer the former setup. The filter area also has plenty of room for a nano aquarium heater to be put out of sight! Big plus, IMHO, as heaters tend to be an eye-sore, especially in such a small tank as this one (2 gallons).
The pump on mine was not attached to the output nozzle new from the box. The easiest way to get the pump up and out to attach everything correctly will be by pulling on the power cord. Please note that the bottom of the pump has suction cups, and when you put it back down in, it will stick. Sometimes when pulling it back out the suction cups will come off. A very small fish net will easily fish them out, and they are easy to snap back on the pump itself. The pump has a good bit of power for such a small tank as this (2 gallons), but I discovered that the pump is adjustable! There is a circular slider on the side of the pump which will cut the flow down greatly, perfect for a Betta. I've got mine set to the most minimum output.
THE AQUARIUM
Is nicely done, elegant and light-weight. The aquarium is acrylic so one must use all the same cautions and maintenance as any other acrylic aquarium.
THE LIDS
Now this is where I wonder what they were thinking. The lids just don't seem to fit right. They DO fit, and work, but they just aren't right. They are a little too wide and don't seem to be deep enough. I'll try and upload pictures. Nevertheless, they are not cheap feeling. I don't think I'm being picky here, they just need minor adjustments to be perfect. This is not a deal breaker though, and I think most people won't even use the main front lid, but the back only.
I hope that this review is helpful, and I would highly recommend this tank.
===========================
UPDATE
After having this tank for a while now, I did decide, since my original review above, to perform a modification to the flow as I now believe the flow is a little strong for a betta. I simply drilled holes in the small tube that runs from the pump to the outlet, thereby decreasing the water flow a good bit more, and my betta seem happier. He did alright before, but with the reduced flow he is out and about more. I put a good bit of holes in the tube to really reduce the flow for the better. If your betta seems bothered by the flow, then drill the holes! I didn't even use a drill, just a drill bit in a screwdriver by hand, easy. Be sure to wash the tube to remove small particles before putting it back in the tank.

I have 2 14/12 year old cats who have always used a covered litter box and I've always lived with hardwood floors. This is the WORST tracking litter I have ever used. Most people are complaining about the smell, which is kind of yucky, but my biggest problem is there is litter all over my house. My dark hardwoods are covered, I have to sweep/vacuum and mop several times per day. It's in the sofa, it's even in my bed! GROSS! And I don't just mean a little dust or a few stray pieces. I mean their paws are completely coated with the stuff every time they exit the box. I also clean the box several times per day. I don't know what the problem is here but I'm revolted by this one. But like I said, maybe it's somehow my cats because I don't see anyone else complaining about this.

Our cats love this food and the gravy helps keep them hydrated as the drink it up every time whereas they are picky water drinkers. Their feeces tests at the vet have been much better since getting this food as they are much better hydrated. It is grain free and has great protein...can't beat it.

My 18 year old Siamese has suffered from severe intestinal problems for much of his life. 10 years ago he had to have an emergency colectomy, and thereafter lost more than half of his body weight. Diarrhea and vomiting were part of the daily routine. Recently a new vet started giving him Prozyme during what was supposed to be a hospice stay. After several days he began to respond and his improvement has been remarkable. No more throwing up. No more bowel problems. He has more energy and looks better than he has in years.

Great food. Healthy. My two cats really eat this stuff up like there's no tomorrow.
My one cat started chewing the bag to get to it. It's not like my cats don't get feed
they do and are never starving. Both my cats are 17-19 lbs.so you know they eat! lol
I would reccomend this food for your cat. Excellent Natural Indgedients.
Worth the price.

My 9 month old kitten loves the bff pouches,I think it's the gravy. The only flavor he doesn't like is turkey but he doesn't like turkey in any brand. His coat is very soft and he never vomits. It's worth the money and fun to pick out the different flavor packets.

For the first few years we've had our German Shepherd we fed her Honest Kitchen mixed with Canidae. She was a healthy weight, sleek with a shiny coat. However, I hate to admit that I complained to my husband about the cost so he switched her to Newman's Own and Alpo. Within 6 months she's overweight and has horrendous ear problems. Horrendous! She walks crooked because her head is tilted, and continually she presses her ear against our hands to massage the base of the ear. The smell is noxious and whines or yelps out when it obviously pains her. The vet kept giving us otic washes, but never questioned the source of the chronic ear inflammation. A friend put me in touch with a breeder and the breeder immediately asked about her food. She said that Honest Kitchen is a FANTASTIC food choice for dogs if you're not going to feed them a raw diet, and that her ear problems are likely a direct result of her changed diet. So we're back to Honest Kitchen...and the cost is definitely worth it to have a healthy, happy dog!

After spending more on allergen-free food from my vet than I spend on groceries for myself, I looked for a reasonable option for my special-needs kitty who is apparently allergic to something in regular cat food.
This food is way cheaper than specialty food from the vet, and my cat's allergic reactions slowly went away after we switched. It smells like death, but it works.
