This bowl is cute and heavy, but canned wet food tends to get moved to the sides when my cat eats from it and he would then stop eating. I would then have to scrape the food back to the center of the bowl so he could continue eating. A better design would be to have rounded sides rather than a right angle. There are 3 small, thin, flat pieces of cork-board equally spaced around the bottom to make the bowl "non-skid." A bad choice, because over time, these would probably puff up when wet and disintegrate. Rubber pieces should have been used. I try to wash the bowl without getting the bottom wet, but it's difficult to do so. Nevertheless, I bought it when it was on sale for less than $2, so I'll just keep on using it until I get something better for Tyger.
