The small size is perfect as a water bowl for my 2 Pomeranians. The bowl itself is heavy and holds the right amount for them during the day. I also like the fact it's dishwasher safe.
Be aware there are little cork pads on the bottom to protect your floor; however, they should be removed if you plan to run through the dishwasher.
