Royal Canin Dry Cat Food, Intense Hairball 34 Formula, 3-Pound Bag
Had almost given up finding something to reduce the hairballs (on beige carpet) from our Maine Coon, which were everyday occurrences. In desperation I went online to search for solutions and found this food. Since it was kind of expensive, I just threw a handfull of it into the "constant feed" bowl every day. (The cats would come running.) I didn't really expect it to make a difference, but I am too poor to just let them chow down on $14-per-bag food. Within a week, though, the hairballs were on the decline, and now a month later, they have virtually been eliminated. I am totally shocked! Although I could justify the expense of this food based solely on its performance, it makes it a little easier when you consider I no longer have to buy carpet cleaner in bulk...
