Primal Pet Foods Freeze-Dried Feline Beef Formula 5.5 oz

I had used the Chicken and Salmon cubes, which were easy to break up and took a short time soaking. This beef product seems really dense, greasy, and hard to break up with my hands. I takes a while to soak up the added water and leaves large chunks.
My cat is not as eager for this product as she is the chicken.

It's taken me awhile to come to the conclusion that ALL commercial pet foods are making our pets sick. Some brands are better than others but none are what our pets really need. I give the Limited Ingredient Diet Turkey three stars because one, my cat will eat it and two so far he doesn't seem to be allergic to it. I won't rate it any higher because it has vegetables in it. Cats cannot derive any nutrients from vegetables but they can upset the digestive system. Their bodies are not designed for digesting vegetables. The other reason I will not rate it any higher is because it is my understanding that this particular brand and flavor has a very high percentage of fat. My cat, who is already overweight while eating very little, gains weight on this cat food. We are trying very hard to transitioning him over to raw food but he has so many food allergies and digestive problems that it is a very slow process. We take a few steps forward and a few steps back and I'm not sure who's winning. All these food allergies and digestive problems are probably from feeding commercial cat food in the first place. The other cause is probably too many vaccines. Do yourself a favor and try transitioning your cat over to raw food. It can be cheaper in the long run. Make sure you do it correctly, though. Dr. Karen Becker, DVM claims the best food you can give your cat is a balanced raw diet. The worst food you can give your cat is an unbalanced raw diet. You can see all of Dr. Becker's videos on YouTube. I will probably continue to buy this canned cat food until our cat is transitioned over to raw food permanently because he likes it and will eat it. My goal is to kiss all commercial pet food good-bye.

ARM & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer 30 oz
Posted by
Unknown
OK so let's be honest here: I am a crazy cat lady. No shame. I don't know how exactly I ended up with 4 cats but that is neither here or there, fact is I have them and they are disgusting. Little hairs everywhere, bits of claws scattered on the floor and don't get me started on the puking, how gross is that?!
ANYHOO, this is about Arm & Hammer's cat litter deodorizer so let's stay on topic (stop distracting me, yeesh).
With four cats, I'm legally required (er, morally?) to have at least four litter boxes, if not five (it's one for each cat plus one just in case you have one of those jerk cats who likes to use a separate box for #1 and #2). One of our boxes is a huge corner box that looks more like a Rubbermaid bin than a litter box.
Prior to my new apartment, I lived in a cozy 650 sq ft 1 bedroom condo. "Cozy" is the word realtors use to mean "so tiny you can't turn around without hitting yourself, you'll be lucky to fit a bed in this thing" so it goes without saying that despite religious cleaning of our four litter boxes in said cozy 650 sq ft condo, my house would sometimes get that distinct "cat lady" stench to it. How embarrassing, right?! I'm not a pig! The cats might be but me? I'm messy, not dirty, but you wouldn't know it with litter boxes hiding in every available corner.
That's where this magic powder comes in. I'm really not sure what's in it but whatever it is should be considered gold to crazy cat ladies (and men, there ARE crazy cat men out there, right?).
When I moved into my new place, I only had one litter box in the large downstairs bathroom for the first two days and did not put my favorite cat litter stinky-makey-go-away magic powder in the box when I filled it. HUGE MISTAKE. My brand new, clean apartment reeked of cat every time I walked through the door. When I had time to put a second box upstairs, I grabbed the magic powder, coated the bottom of the box, filled with litter and sprinkled some more on top. Ahhhh yes, that's the stuff!
I immediately went downstairs and added a ton of the stuff to the stanky, nasty litter. And just like that, the smell was GONE.
This stuff will NOT allow you to be lazy and not scoop for three days or anything BUT it WILL make your cat stinkies far more tolerable until you are able to get them in a plastic bag and out of your house. It truly is incredible. The box could be inches from my face and I don't notice cat smell. When people would come over to my old apartment, they'd even remark "wow, it smells great in here!" as if to imply that because I'm a crazy cat lady, my house should smell like cat and a bad episode of Hoarders. I was so happy to know that, even if it means my friends are rude.
And let's just say nothing kills the mood more than a stinky litter box (except maybe annoying children running around demanding to be fed I guess?) and this stuff keeps my bedroom smelling like stripper perfume and aphrodisiac candles so I can have my boyfriend over and not worry that he'll break up with me for being a dirty, gross cat lady. Nope, he wants a set of keys even so wait for it he can feed my cats when I'm out of town on work! WIN.
Thank you, Arm and Hammer. Because of you, I can be a crazy cat lady AND still hot. I love you.

Annamaet Grain Free Chicken & Fish Cat Food - 12 lb
Posted by

When the food I had been feeding my two fuzzballs was recalled I needed to find a new, healthy alternative. My other issue in finding new food was that my two are picky and one has a sensitive stomach and is prone to barfing. This is healthy, caused no issues with sensitive tummies and they like it so much they argued over who got to eat it first.

Grillers' Blend Dry Cat Food (16-lb bag)

I managed to get a bag rather inexpensively at a flea market cat food scratch and dent sale. Since my cats are rescued feral cats, they eat what is on sale. They did tear into the food as soon as it hit the dish and seemed to enjoy it. In fact they enjoyed it so much, they threw it up all over my carpet so they could go eat some more. Next week they will be getting something else. They seem to like Iams, which was granny's favorite.

Excellent product! Works well when mixed with water and seems to hide the taste of any meds you have to sneak in it. I pay nearly 4 bucks less a can though at KV Vet. If you rescue a lot of animals like I do I suggest checking them out first, they save me a ton!

I agree with another review in that too many biscuits are broken when they arrive at my house. BTW I had the same problem buying them directly at the store.
I have fed my dogs these biscuits for about 25 years. The dogs love these biscuits but the real reason I feed them is because they are the hardest biscuits I have been able to find. The dogs take a long time to eat them and have to do a lot of chewing. This cleans their teeth. Since I started feeding these biscuits not one vet has suggested that my dog's teeth needed cleaning. I've probably had 5 or 6 dogs in that time and 5 or 6 vets too. I figure what I've saved in cleanings has more than paid for the biscuits plus the dogs like the biscuits.
One thing worth noting is that my dog's diet is more than half dry food; I don't know if a dog on a wet food diet would have the same success.

Habitrail OVO Suite

List Price: $67.99
Sale Price: $33.50
Today's Bonus: 51% Off

The Habitrail Ovo system is great! The connectors lock in place, it looks cool, it's easy to clean, and everything is rounded so hammies can't chew on cage components very easily. Dwarf hamsters can't make it vertically up the Ovo tubes, though, so we had to buy a couple of CritterTrail tubes so they could get "upstairs" for more interesting tube configurations. Yes, the CritterTrail stuff is compatible. But we use all Habitrail locking rings so our cat can't get into the cage. He can get the CritterTrail rings apart, and he can pop the Habitrail lids off. So we have to make sure that every connection has a Habitrail locking ring. When we do that, the cage is cat-proof and hamster escape-proof (as long as we make sure that every den and opening is closed securely when we're finished playing with the hamsters). This is the best cage system I've ever used!

Hikari Usa Inc AHK19404 Shrimp Cuisine 0.35 -Ounce

I been feeding Hikari Shrimp Cuisine to my ghost shrimps for the past 15 months and the result came out to be all healthy and active. I have population of 120 of ghost shrimps inside my 29 gal tank. They are healthy and reproductive creature who likes to swim around and perform amusement. The food does not have any MSG inside (checked with manufacture's ingredient sheet) but the nutrients inside the small pebble food helps the fry and juvenile shrimps to grow FAST. From my research based on what I observed from their growth process, it took 1-2 months for fry to grow up to juveniles and 2-3 months for juveniles to become adults.I will recommend this product to people who love to breed and grow any kind of shrimps.

Pet Dental Solution
Posted by
Unknown
Our cat had 3+ gingivitis. The vet recommended dental cleaning with general anesthesia (procedure + anesthesia = $600; pre-op labs $600; total $1200). I asked for a 1-yr. postponement, and, during the next 12 months, my family & I were conscientious in the use of the Clearquest Dental Solution in the cat's drinking water along with chewable (hard) dental treats & enzyme-containing dental treats. After 1 year, the vet retracted her recommendation for dental cleaning & was pleased, as well as impressed, with the improvement in our cat's dental condition. We have continued our regimen, & dental care is no longer mentioned at the yearly check-ups.
This product can be used with our dogs as well. It does not contain the ingredient associated with liver damage. Taste of the treated drinking water has not been an issue from the beginning.

My boys Levi and Theo love this food. They beg for it when I see me headed toward the kitchen. I split one packet between them and they lick the bowls clean. I like the ease of the packets I can feed them without using a fork or spoon to get the food out of the can which makes me happy too. They love all the flavors despite being more chicken lovers than fish lovers.

Fancy Feast Gourmet Cat Food, 3-Flavor Seafood Variety Pack

This is a direct response to the misleading, non-sensical review that starts with the headline: "No Bargain":
First off, the "No Bargain" review is EXTREMELY MISLEADING.
Here's the two things the reviewer got right: 1) If you DO have the Fancy Feast cases delivered regularly via Amazon's "Subscribe & Save"-you pay $14.02 a case. 2) If you buy 24 cans at Petsmart (at 53 cents per can) you pay $12.72 for a case.
BUT HERE'S WHERE THEIR THEORY IMPLODES:
If you buy your case at Petsmart (in CA-specifically in Los Angeles where I live)-YOU HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX... Adding as much as $1.24 to the total cost of a case.
Now the Petsmart case costs $13.96. Since we've agreed that the Amazon case purchased via Amazon's "Subscribe & Save" costs $14.02... That means there is only a SIX CENT DIFFERENCE PER CASE between Amazon's price and California Petsmart and Walmart prices.
Plus, you also have to PAY FOR GAS if you go to Petsmart or Walmart. Plus, the extra travel time to and fro. Plus, you have to drag all that cat food to your car from the store and then drag it from your car to your house.
MY Amazon Fancy Feast is DELIVERED TO MY FRONT DOOR BY A UPS DELIVERY PERSON.
I'll gladly pay a EXTRA SIX CENTS for DELIVERY TO MY DOOR.
If folks follow your thinking-they'll spend A LOT MORE MONEY for their cat food!
Think it through! Fancy Feast is a PERFECTLY FINE DEAL HERE!
